"Village teacher"

The painting is painted at 1958 and exhibited at The State Tretiakov Gallery.
In 1960 it is awarded the Lenin premium.
30 years later the artist again has visited these places, has found for the grown old teacher and has painted a new variant: "Village teacher - 1990".
This variant is exhibited at our Gallery under No 2 (see below).
